Tommaso Lizzul e HOTB saranno presenti nei nostri spazi espositivi (Metrokubo e Knulp) con le rispettive mostre all'interno della rassegna "Triestèfotografia", organizzata dall' Associazione Culturale Juliet e ormai giunta alla sua 5a edizione.

"No fear of change" racconta il piacere della metamorfosi, l'emozione del passaggio che consente di cambiare pelle senza tradire la propria essenza, continuando a sognare a occhi aperti.

Originalità significa essere te stesso e crederci. Onthesofa tratta dell'originalità. In questo progetto il set è composto da un sipario di velluto rosso e un divano di pelle nera. l'inquadratura rimane la       stessa così come le luci.

Quello che cambia sono i soggetti sul divano. Ogni personaggio esprime la propria originalità.(T. Lizzul)


HOTB (Ita)

Is anybody home?

HOTB compone figure, là dove altri nei secoli hanno costruito sistemi filosofici, o si sono tormentati sulla persistenza del male, e hanno scritto volumi sulla crudeltà…

HOTB con la sua provocazione ci aiuta a sentire quanto è viva la nostra coscienza televisiva, adorna di immagini pubblicitarie, dove c'è sempre casa, ovunque nel mondo e in qualsiasi malaugurata situazione, basta avere il fusillo in tasca…

In HOTB un'umanità genitale e a tratti pornografica interpreta una sgangherata pulsione di vita, mentre neri telefoni disseminati, come ruderi in un paesaggio romantico, sono in attesa di una chiamata…(patrizia miliani)


SINSONG (NYC, Singapore)
Portrait
"Gli uomini sono stronzi ovunque, e le donne non è che siano poi molto meglio, ma almeno sono carine". La sentenza è precisa, tagliente, inesorabile, e sembra non permettere repliche. Tensione erotica e satira sociale si mescolano nelle immagini patinate e sature di colori disegnate dalla macchina fotografica di questa disincantata artista cosmopolita che vive a cavallo tra Stati Uniti, China e Singapore, "tanto il mondo è uguale dappertutto".


WAYNE LIU (Usa)
Haunted
Presenze soprannaturali in bianco e nero che emergono dalla pellicole fotografiche, solo lievemente nascoste da doppie esposizioni che ne sottolineano il carattere ansiogeno. Sono le figure sovrapposte e confuse che nascono dall'obbiettivo "infestato" e notturno di Wayne Liu.


DENISE ALBA (Bra)
My Complex Parallel Universe
Immagini surreali e surrealiste, composte strizzando l'occhio ai grandi dell'arte del novecento e al mondo delle favole, reinterpretando alternativamente ma senza soluzione di continuità Modigliani e il gatto con gli stivali, Dalì e Cappuccetto Rosso, Magritte e Biancaneve.

"No fear of change"  is about the pleasure of metamorphosis, the emotion of  transition, which let the skin change without betraying our very own essence, daydreaming as always.

Onthesofa_

Originality means being yourself and believing in yourself. Onthesofa is about originality. in my project the setting consists of a red velvet sheet curtain and a black leather sofa. The frame remains the same, the lighting remains the same, what changes are the subjects on the sofa. Every subject expresses his own originality.



HOTB (Ita)

Is anybody home?

HOTB composes figures where other people, in past centuries, had made Phylosophical systems, or had been hunted by the evil persistance, writing books on cruelty.

HOTB with his provocation helps us to feel how alive and adorned by commercial images is our televisive conscience.

In HOTB a genital and sometimes pornographic humanity interprets an unhinged life pulsion, while black phones, disseminated like ruins in a romantic landscape, rest, waiting for a call.



SINSONG (NYC, Singapore)

Portraits

"Men are assholes everywhere, and girls aren't that much better either. But at least they are pretty". The sentence is clear like a sharp blade,  inexorable, and seems to consent no objections. Erotic tension and social satire are mixed in the saturated by color images drawn by the camera of this disenchanted and cosmopolitan artist who lives across United States, China and Singapore, because "they are basically the same".



WAYNE LIU (Usa)

Haunted

Supernatural black and white presences emerging from camera films, veiled by double exposition that underlines its anxiogenic nature. These are the superimposed and confused images born from "haunted" and nocturnal Wayne Liu's photographic lenses.





DENISE ALBA (Bra)

My Complex Parallel Universe

Surreal and surrealistic images, composed winking to the greatest artists of the twentieth century and to the world of tales, reinterpreting alternately, but without a real fracture, Modigliani and Puss in Boots, Dalì and Little Red Riding Hood, Magritte and Snow White.
